Movie Date

Cameron and I had a date Friday night. His school was showing the movie G-Force and serving pizza. We had soooooooo much fun and that really was not said sarcastically. We loaded our bean bag chairs in the car, grabbed some blankets and headed out the door. Cameron was so cute; we set up, got in line for pizza and snacks and then he wanted to sit with me and not with his friends. The movie was ok but being there made Cameron's day and that made the night perfect!

I can't believe it..........

My little boy is a cub scout.

He was so excited to go. He never gets excited about much and can be pretty negative but this he couldn't wait for. After buying his book, shirt and pack patches = $57.00 (ouch) he was ready for his first night. Before we left he said, "mom, do I get to wear my costume tonight!"

This is probably a little bit inappropriate to be posting but this is my journal and so I'm going to do it.

C: Why do girls wipe every time they go to the bathroom?

M: Because girls don't have a penis.

C: How do they pee?

M: It comes out of their front. We poop out the back and pee out the front.

C: (with a smile on his face) so what's it called?

M: a vagina

C: (looks at me funny) a ragina? Well, I'm going to call it a penis.

M: No, girls don't have those they have a vagina!

C: (made a pose like a superhero and in a loud voice yells) Penis vs raginas

Poor guy!

Took Cameron to the doctor today because he's been complaining of a sore throat since Saturday and guess what???????

My first week of work is getting more challenging and more exciting by the minute!

Summer is over

What a wild morning.....

someone kept wasting time, spilt cereal all over the store, didn't want to get dressed, only wanted to play and on and on and on. I didn't yell but I was so tired of nagging. Then as I was grabbing my shoes to run out the door there he was knelt down in front of the couch, "mom, we need to say our morning prayers!" He is an incredible kid!

Here's my 2nd grader!

My mom is a saint and helps with me Cameron every day before and after school. Cameron loves his time with her. This morning he was a little thrown off that he was not going to see his Grandma. Luckily she was still home when we pulled up and he ran into give her a hug.

Ms. Blitz is his teacher!

He almost didn't let me take this picture. He gave me that look like, 'come on mom you're embarrassing me!' Not sure if I'll be able to get away with it next year.

He had a great day.

When I asked him what his favorite part was he said recess and lunch. Go figure!

Happy Birthday take 2

Cameron's 'official' birthday was Sunday. My lil boy is officially EIGHT!!! We had cupcakes and ice cream with the fam.

I made chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Cameron is a big 'cream' fan anything with lots of frosting is ok with him.

This is the only picture with our guests and it's not a very good one.

He was so excited!!! Cameron received $50 and when I asked him what was the first thing he needed to do with it he yelled out, "pay my taxes!" No, let's try tithing!!!
