Memories

Calling all Memories!!
So here is a fun new blogging game:

1. Leave one memory that you have of us together, as a comment on my blog. It can be any memory!!!!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

When you live with someone for the majority of your life...it is hard to narrow it down to 1 memory....and although the "stuck on a rock" is a favorite...I like to go back a little farther. It was in OR...1980 something and it was baseball time in the Jones family...Dad, me, steve, vic and you were playing. It was dad's turn to bat and that meant you were to pitch. Steve, Vic and I took off WAY off into the outfield...And then this is what we saw: the ball leaving your hand, the ball hitting dad's bat....and then you flat on your back while dad is running towards you and tearing of his shirt...flash forward a few hours...Vic and I come walking into your room with frosties in hand (did those exist back then) while you lay in bed with however many stitches it took to mend that large gash in your chin! I sure do love you!

If I were sharing a memory of Cameron it would be:
I remember seeing cameron curled up on the floor in the downstairs blue family room, wathcing baby einsteins and cuddling up with someone's feet. I don't remember who's feet they belonged to but I sure hope they were clean. Does he still do this?

My memory of Mandy:
This isn't very specific but it is what developed my love for you in the beginning. I remember that any time we got together as a family we could always count on you to say something that would embarass the faint in heart. Whether the topic be about sex, body parts or any other face reddening shocker. You would simply and comfortably blurt out a comment, laugh your trade mark laugh and move on with chatting. While others in the room were shocked speachless. I loved it then and I love it now. Ecspecially when you embarassed my brothers, they are often too modest in nature. Love you!
