This is my Brother-in-law Nick, he's married to Sharon. We've been hearing about his deep frying skills for some time now and how good a deep fried turkey tastes. Well, it's our lucky year because Nick cooked for Eater dinner.
{Steve, don't read this blog entry}
Here's how it's done:
Injection of some smart balance
(I think butter is probably preferred but you won't find real butter at our house)
temp up to 350 degrees
Let cook for 45 minutes
Tadaaaaaa.....a deep fried turkey
Let me tell you......it actually was very good!
At first Cameron wanted nothing to do with it because it looked so different. But he took a bite and had 3 large servings.

You are such a cute mom, I'm sure Cameron will always want you around!! The Turkey looks delish! we got one of those fryers for like 10 dollors on Clearance at Ace Hardware a long time ago but have never dared try it. We just may have to bust it out.
I still can't believe that I missed it!! I have been waiting and waiting and he does it when I'm gone!! Looked like fun!!
I have always heard that fried turkeys were good. I just have never tried it.
It only takes 45 minutes???? (Also, do you love that this is an Easter post and I'm just now reading it? I had a little catching up to do on my blog reading...by the way, you're adorable/awesome.)
